Layman’s Auxiliary

Deacon Carl Williams
Laymen President

For the past eight years and to present, Deacon Williams served as Crusader Counselor at his home church and the Montgomery Antioch District Association (MADA) Crusader Counselor President under Moderator Wagstaff until his recent appointment by same as MADA Layman President under the advisement of MADA 2nd Vice Moderator, Pastor Anderson Ayers.

He accepted the Layman position with the intent of making the MADA a district that brings glory to God.  It is his prayer that God will bless the Montgomery Antioch District Association with unity, helps, and brotherly love.  Above all, he prays for the establishment of a mission to reach and keep other brothers in Christ that are entering a crucial time in their life.  Satan desires to sift our young men as wheat and they might not otherwise stay on the straight and narrow path that leads to life.  Those more seasoned laymen know this all too well.  The years between ages eighteen and twenty-five are key for building upon a firm foundation, which is critical to being successful in life, well-rounded and rooted in the truth- Jesus the Christ.  So, let us build our hopes on things eternal as we hold to God’s unchanging hands.
